Thanksgiving

For Thanksgiving we went to Jeremy's family from Wednesday until Sunday. We had such a good time and are so blessed to have such a good family. The only downside to it all was Jeremy and I had a little bit of the stomach flu and didn't get over it until Saturday. Sariah was so excited to go she talked to Grandma Baird all Wednesday that she was going to sleep at Grandma Shoes and her "friends" were going to be there. Sariah and Emily had such a blast and played really hard. Sariah, Kara and Karisa were going to sleep in Sariah's tent and Emily wanted to sleep with the big girls so bad. She climbed in pushed Karisa over, layed down and pulled the blanket up over her. She wasn't very happy that she wasn't old enough to sleep with them yet. They had a hard time sleeping the first night and they got up at 5 am. Then of course Friday morning Beth, Amber and I went Black Friday shopping! I love doing it and it is such a fun tradition to do with them. This year though there were not that many people at all. It has been way busier. After we went shopping Twila, a lady from Beth's ward, came over. We learned how to sew pillowcases and tablerunners. It was really easy and they are so cute! The boys watched the kids in the morning and then in the afternoon they went 4 wheeling. Terry was also sick and Saturday morning everyone started to feel good. Fran came up early in the morning and went fishing with Jeremy. They did really good and caught several fish. Saturday night Jeremy and I took family pictures so look for them in you Christmas cards! We also of course played board games. We played Apples to Apples, Bonanza and Settlers. Grandma and Grandpa played Uno Attack with all of the grandchildren. Following are several pictures.

Sariah's Dance Recital

Sariah took a dance class for about 2 1/2 months at the Orem Rec Center. She was very fun to watch and interesting to watch a 4 year old in dance. I would worry when she wasn't doing what she was supposed to but then I would look around and the other students weren't always doing it either. The first class time she was sort of leading the other girls. She would do something else or show the teacher something and the other girls would do the same. Or she would come out to tell me something and the other girls would come out also. Here are a couple of pictures and a video of her recital.

Fall Leaves

Sariah loves to play in the leaves every fall. My mom said that Emily was running around squealing.

Halloween

On Halloween Maceys has a little fishing pond and you can go trick or treating to all of the departments. I guess Emily got a little tired! For Halloween Sariah was a dinosaur. Grandma Hooper had made this for Isaac and she let us use it. Emily was a kangaroo. I got this costume at a yard sale for I think $2. We went over to Jason and Amber's for dinner and some trick or treating.

Jeremy dressed up for halloween by shaving his head into a mullett. He about killed his mother and Jason almost choked laughing so hard. It was awsome!

Carving Pumpkins

We had alot of fun carving our pumpkins. As soon as Sariah's pumpkin was carved she took off. Emily was so cute! Last year she was only 10 months old. I was cutting the top off Sariah's and Emily was pushing her pumpkin to me to do hers. While I was cutting Emily's she was pointing to it to show me where and how to cut. It was adorable!
