Random Stuff about TJ

For awhile TJ woudn't go to sleep for me.  The only way he would go to sleep is if Jeremy held him in "The Robe".  It's a nice fuzzy robe.  One night Jeremy put him down with it and TJ was petting the robe.  It was a little frustrating and sad he wouldn't go to bed for me.  He will now but he is still really hard to put to bed.

TJ LOVES water!  The first time I put him in Deer Creek he just sat there and splashed the water.  Usually babies would cry but he didn't mind one bit!  When I give him a bath I usually get drenched.  He just goes crazy.  Whenever we take a shower he comes running and bangs on the shower curtain.  I was watering the lawn one day and he crawled out into the middle of the sprinklers.  It was so funny!  He just sat there getting wet.

Visiting Idaho

In our perusal for a job we have been applying in Idaho.  We applied to one in Twin Falls and they called us and did a phone interview.  Then they wanted to meet him in person.  So we went.  We haven't been to Idaho in a couple of years so it was fun to be able to visit at the same time.  It was just a quick trip.  We headed up after work on a Wednesday night and spent the night at Grandma Baird's.  We got to visit with her for most of Thursday and then headed to Aunt Rosann's at three.  I stopped by her work and picked up her house key.  Jeremy's interview was at five so we got to the house and he took off and we waited at the house until Rosann came home from work.  Then we got to visit or awhile until Jeremy came back.  Then we left her house and went straight home.  It was so nice being able to visit with Grandma and Rosann!  This was the first time that they both saw TJ since he was born.  It was so cute watching Grandma with him and made me so happy that we came.  In the end Jeremy did not get the job.  We have decided though that we aren't going to apply out of state anymore.  We want to fix our house up before we eventually sell it.  At this time in our life it's just not very possible to move out of state.  Here are some pictures from Grandma's house and Rosann.

Sariah's Birthday

This year I had a friend's birthday party for Sariah.  She wanted one so bad last year but I was on bed rest.  I don't really like to do parties.  I never know what to do and I just get nervous and stressed about it.  Oh well.  I think it went good and they all had a good time.  Here are some pictures.

First Day of School

I think both Sariah and I were ready for school to start!  This year she is in second grade and so excited to be able to go on a field trip to the zoo.  I'm so sad because now she usually just takes off with a friend or just off to her line without me or without saying goodbye. :(  She's growing up so fast!

Sariah's school has a preschool for children that need a little more help before they go to Kindergarten.  I took Emily in to be tested to get into the preschool.  Unfortunately she doesn't know a whole lot right now.  It is very hard going from a child that wants to learn and asks me question after question to one that just doesn't have the same drive.  I would also try to teach her and she would just get defiant with me.  I was embarrassed how little she knew when she was tested.  I felt like a bad parent!  She did get in.  I'm happy that she's in and gets to have these experiences.  She was excited to be able to go to school and got a Dora backpack.  I put her in the morning session and maybe should have done the afternoon session.  She likes to get up and play and kind of complains and says she doesn't like school.  But then she gets dressed and goes and is fine.  To see if she had got into the preschool you had to go see if her name was on a list.  The other morning I was rolling on the floor laughing because she said, "I wish my name wasn't on that list!".  It was so funny!

Here are a few pictures of her in line.

Here is a picture about a week after school started of both girls.
